I arranged this popular Christmas carol in 2021 for two siblings, one a beginner and the
other at the late-elementary level.

The Primo consists of mainly the melody, which is the descending C Major scale and some
short accompanying motifs in scale form. The 8va signs also mean the student needs to
have a good understanding of the register and position.

The Secondo is approximately late elementary level, using the C Major descending scale and a combination of crotchet and quavers accompanying chords to establish different moods at different sections of the carol. For players with smaller hands and unable to reach the span of an octave, the top note of the octave may be omitted.
